Taiwan-based LED wafer and chip maker Epistar and China-based LED display maker Leyard Optoelectronic are looking at CNY5 billion (US$7.18 billion) in annual revenues from a joint venture they are forming for making mini and micro LED chips and modules in China, according to industry sources.
