Empathetics: Boston startup wants to make your doctor more sensitive

Boston-based Empathetics Inc. says it has the solution to help hospitals get higher patient satisfaction scores: teach physicians empathy. In a randomized study at Massachusetts General Hospital, researchers discovered that physicians that took a course in empathy had higher patient satisfaction scores.
