Elevated Media Productions was one of the first in North America to pickup a DJI Ronin from our friends at Dronefly.com and we are so impressed with it's amazing capabilities. For those that don't know, the DJI Ronin is a camera stabilization tool that works by utilizing brushless gimbals that allow you to achieve stunning shots that were otherwise impossible or very hard to achieve in the recent past. DJI says this about its Ronin, "Developed for the filmmaking professional, the DJI Ronin marks a generational leap in camera stabilization technology. Its custom sensors, powerful motors and advanced algorithms put world-class precision in your hands." We have utilized this amazing tool almost exclusively on about 6 shoots now and we could not be more pleased. We have incorporated numerous accessories such as wireless follow focus, wireless HD video feed and other support gear in order to utilize the Ronin's full potential. It enables us to capture seamless tracking shots, dolly shots, jib like shots and pretty much anything else we can throw it's way. Take a look at the first two videos we have released with our Ronin. The first is an 85 million dollar home commercial and the second is a test shot one afternoon on RED Epic and the Ronin.
