Dresscode - Andover Blog The Golden Globe Goes To...

We all know that there's one thing more important than the awards at shows like the Golden Globes: the fashion. Forget Best Actress - how about Best Dressed? Kidding aside, my favorite part of any show is the Red Carpet. It's like prom, except filled with famous people and unlimited dress budgets.I asked Amy and Karen to join me in choosing our favorite looks of the night. While Amy answered within seconds, Karen and I struggled a little more. We were both caught between two or three looks, but we helped each other narrow it down.So without further ado, the dresscode Golden Globe goes to...Amy's Pick: Julianne MooreJulianne wore a navy, long-sleeved sequined Tom Ford number with a collorbone cutout and super cool neckline. This choker-style neckline is all the rage right now - like this TY-LR dress at dresscode that's been a huge hit. Amy loved this look "without a doubt - [Julianne is&91; classy always. The color with her hair and skin was amazing. She knows exactly how to dress for her."Karen's Pick: Zendaya Zendaya wore a showstopping tiered Marchesa gown in red. Karen loves this one because "the color and layers make it so fun and youthful without overpowering her." We totally agree - these full layers could have overtaken her little frame, but they hit in exactly the right places. Zendaya looked sophisticated and fun - double threat!Haley's Pick: Jenna Dewan-TatumAfter much debate, my pick goes to Jenna Dewan-Tatum in a Zuhair Murad Couture dress. It turns out that not only does she have amazing taste in men (hi, Channing), she has fabulous taste in dresses as well. She rocked a navy gown embellished with silver sequins. She donned a plunging neckline in the most tasteful way. Jenna struck the perfect balance of statement-making and timelessness!Did you notice that two of our favorites were navy? It's a classic color in 'real life' but it's a surprising trend for the Red Carpet. We have three perfect navy numbers of our own for you guys to try! Come in to dresscode and check out the Keepsake Heartstrong Dress, the DVF Eliana Dress, and the Keepsake This Moment Dress. From the office to the proverbial Red Carpet and everywhere in between, you can rock the color of the season with dresscode!-- Haley
