Dot Net Solutions: LBB Dot Net Solutions: winning against the big boys

On the face of it LBB Dot Net Solutions should not be winning business at the expense of the large systems integrators. But the company's reputation as a trusted advisor coupled with Dot Net's relationship with Microsoft (Dot Net Solutions is Microsoft's FY15 UK Partner of the year and Global Enterprise Cloud Partner of the Year finalist) has led to several household names switching. The company is focussed on being a provider of digital transformation and managed services to large enterprises which are looking to take advantage of using Microsoft's Office 365, Azure and/or Enterprise Mobility platforms.Currently Dot Net is supporting the Met Office's initiative to redevelop the Weather Observation Website by enabling hundreds of thousands of people to submit weather data. The solution enables the Met Office to ingest and analyse terabytes of weather observational data from around the world. In addition the company built the back-end solution to help a large insurance company with an app that rates driving.Dot Net doesn't always go it alone, it partnered with a large telco to provide a construction firm with a single contract and single point of contact for their entire mobile platform.Since its creation in 2003 Dot Net Solutions has grown to having over 100 clients. The endorsements from Microsoft and the company's ability to add its own IP on top of Microsoft offerings have contributed to revenues doubling in the last two years. Dot Net Solutions looks set to continue to take on the big boys and grow its portfolio of high profile clients; epitomising a Little British Battler.A full profile on Dot Net Solutions where we'll be digging deeper into this growth story will be published soon.
