Disability Action Yorkshire, a local charity that provides services that support disabled people to live more independently in Yorkshire can now use a Smart Board to hold interactive lessons and sessions with groups both in the classroom and working remotely, thanks to a £3,800 donation from the Morrisons Foundation. The funding boost will allow tutors to accommodate different learning styles with the use of the Smart Board. Following a reduction in voluntary income as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, The charity reached out to the charitable arm of the supermarket for support to purchase this specialist piece of equipment.
