Alex Parton has saved over $6,100 with Digit This week's featured member is a Transit Technology Software salesman from Atlanta, Georgia who has more hobbies than any one person we've ever met. Let's find out more about Alex. ###################################As a Transit Technology Software salesman, Alex spends a great deal of time traveling through Canada and the Mid Southwest. Although he can get a little road weary, he really enjoys what he does. "I work for a great company that actually wants to help agencies around the world succeed," he said. "I don't think you find that very often."Alex joined Digit in January 2015 after learning about the app from a friend. He says his Digit Anniversary is easy to remember because he took his first three months of savings and used it to purchase an Apple watch in April 2015. Since then, he's let the savings build back up for a "rainy day" fund or down payment on a house. Digit is really straight forward. I love getting text notifications at 9 AM every day letting me know my latest changes. I look at my accounts every day for peace of mind, but it helps that in the morning I can look at the text on my way to work.As a budding entrepreneur with, "several ideas floating around," Alex says he may also use his savings to start a new business venture. We asked Alex what he likes to do in his spare time and after reading his answer, we are surprised he even has spare time. "I'm a Jack of all trades. I love doing and trying everything which is a blessing and a curse," he said. "I dabble in a few instruments - ukulele and guitar. I ran my own movie podcast for a while, I've been training for a marathon, creating funny videos, photography, playing board games, mountain biking, hiking, reading, and learning new languages."I'm really quick with learning new things I'm unfamiliar with. Whether it's sports, music, games, etc. I have a knack for picking up whatever it is and being relatively decent at it. The only problem is, I'm master of none. Alex is pictured with his fiance, Spencer. Their wedding is just a few days away. We asked Alex what he would buy if he won the lottery. His answer is befitting a smitten newlywed-to-be. "I'm going to marry the love of my life. I have everything in the world I could possibly need, so everything else would definitely be a want," he said. Then added, "For some reason I've always wanted a DeLorean. I'm pretty sure I would just put a fog machine in and randomly go around and act like I just came back from the future."
