Dexterity Global Blog D2C Qualifiers rescheduled; fee waivers to all flood-affected families

Important Update: We're deeply saddened by and concerned about an unprecedented flood situation in Bihar. As you know, D2C is a high school to college transition platform that identifies and grooms young talents in the state. We are on a mission to increase the opportunities for young students in Bihar to attend top colleges across the world.The D2C Qualifiers were supposed to be held on Aug 28, 2016 (Sunday) in Patna, India. However, there is severe flooding in some parts of the state and a flood-like situation in several others. With students registered from Patna, Arrah, Muzaffarpur, Danapur, Bhojpur, Darbhanga, Buxar, Sitamarhi, Chhapra, Saharsa, Munger, Samastipur, Nawada, Arwal, Vaishali, Gopalganj, and Begusarai districts of Bihar, we are rescheduling the D2C Qualifiers. The flood situation has left transport and daily life affected throughout the state. In the best interest of public safety and our kids, we are rescheduling the D2C Qualifiers from Aug 28, 2016 (Sunday) to Sep 25, 2016 (Sunday). The venue for the test remains the same (St. Xavier's College, Patna).As an organization that truly believes in "creating a platform for every child", we understand the pains of those affected and displaced. Our Financial Aid Office has decided to waive the D2C Qualifiers registration fee for every single child whose family/family income has been affected due to the floods.As we continue to deal with a significant level of flooding and one of the worst floods in the history of the state, we pray for everyone's safety and hope that we return to normalcy soon.P.S.
