Dexter Field Services: ATC acquires leak detection and monitoring firm

ATC Group Services (Lafayette, La.), an environmental consulting and industrial hygiene firm, has acquired Dexter Field Service (Austin, Texas), a leak detection and repair, monitoring and environmental services firm. Terms were not disclosed. Dexter has 150 employees servicing more than 60 clients throughout the United States. The Dexter acquisition will expand ATC to 1,700 employees across nearly 100 locations nationwide. The company will be renamed Dexter ATC Field Services and will be led by Brett Kriley, Dexter's CEO. The transaction follows ATC Group's recent acquisition of Sage Environmental Consulting, also of Austin. Bernhard Capital Partners acquired ATC from Cardno Limited in November 2015. Bernhard is the private equity firm founded by Jim Bernhard and executives from The Shaw Group.
