Daylight Solutions: Daylight Solutions Now Part Of Leonardo DRS

San Diego-based Daylight Solutions announced on Thursday that it is now part of Leonardo DRS, after receipt of final regulatory approvals on the $150M acquisition. The deal had originally been announced in March. Daylight Soultions said it will continue to operate from San Diego, with its three co-founders, Dr. Timothy Day, Paul Larson and Sam Crivello, remaining with the company. Daylight Soultions develops laser technology used to protect aircraft against shoulder fired, heat seeking missiles, as well as technology in the area of cancer research, tissue diagnostics, and pharmaceutical process control.
