Darcars Blog Join DARCARS Automotive at the Walk Off Parkinson's Fundraising Event on September 24th

On Sunday, September 24, 2017 DARCARS Automotive is sponsoring the 2017 Walk Off Parkinson's fundraising event. This fun, family-friendly event will raise money to support the people in our local community who have been impacted by Parkinson's disease.Walk Off Parkinson's is a fundraising program which supports the Parkinson's Foundation of the National Capital Area. It involves a free, family-friendly walk, as well as a number of educational sessions to help our community members learn more about living with Parkinson's.DARCARS Automotive has been a proud lead sponsor of this event for five years and counting. We want to support our community as much as possible, while providing a fun event that everyone can enjoy together. Every year, we host an exciting activity at Walk Off Parkinson's to raise more money. This year, starting at 8:30am, we're offering rides on the DARCARS Bull. So if you're feeling adventurous, so stop by early to get your turn on the bull. If bull riding isn't your thing, you're welcome to stop by for complimentary donuts and coffee before the walk begins.Walk Off Parkinson's will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Nationals Park in Washington, DC from 8:30am to 12:00pm, so be sure to mark it down on your calendar.
