After five years of serving the community, we at Curiosity Consignment wanted to have a celebration but we realized that we needed something to celebrate that was above and beyond simply being in business. This is why we have partnered with Nathan's Ridge to support those on the road to recovery right in our very own neighborhood. Join us at the store (9870 Main St Damascus MD) for a night of networking with this worthy cause to bring us together! Live music by G.M. Trio (featuring cover songs from The Beatles) - Catering by Smokehill BBQ - Door Prizes - and more. Hear a brief testimony from recent graduates of the program and learn more about this incredible ministry. We anticipate a large turnout so bring business cards and let's all get to know each other! Admission is free but we ask guests with a Facebook account to 'check in' upon arrival and we suggest a $10 donation to the charity. Often times, those in the battle have burned all their bridges and have nowhere left to turn for help. In a broken system that has little to offer these wayward souls, Nathan's and Frannie's Homes are standing in the gap. While there are other 'half-way' houses and twelve step programs to be found, Nathan's offers a faith based approach with healing from our Lord Jesus Christ who breaks every chain. With a proven method of counseling coupled with a safe environment, the staff at Nathan's is graduating men and women back into society and turning the tide in a war that has claimed so many lives.
