( KRON ) - The state of California is collaborating with technology company Nvidia for artificial intelligence that will assist in education. According to the founder and CEO of Nvidia and California Governor Gavin Newsom, the goal of the partnership is to: Train students, educators and workers Support job creation and promote innovation Use AI to solve challenges that can improve the lives of Californians The collaboration aims to advance the careers of students, educators and workers. According to the state of California's website, the goal of AI is expected to assist in "curriculum and certifications, hardware and software, AI labs and workshops, and more." Newsom helps clear L.A. homeless encampment, vows to withhold funds from counties that don't "California's world-leading companies are pioneering AI breakthroughs, and it's essential that we create more opportunities for Californians to get the skills to utilize this technology and advance their careers. We're teaming up with NVIDIA to connect AI tools directly to students, educators, and workers - creating a pipeline to drive the innovations of the future," said Gov. Newsom. The University of California and California State University systems are expected to partner with the state on these efforts in the future, according to California's website.
