Lawrence Vilardo has been recommended for a U.S. District Court judgeship in the Western District of New York. The recommendation of the Buffalo attorney was made public this afternoon by U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer. The 59-year-old Vilardo is a partner in the Buffalo firm of Connors & Vilardo LLP. If confirmed by the Senate, he would replace Richard Arcara, who is shifting to senior status in the District Court.
