Recently, in an East Montgomery neighborhood, a resident's dog of enormous sentimental value came up missing. The resident contacted MPD for assistance and nothing was able to be found. However, once the resident placed a post on Facebook about her missing dog, she received some attention. City Councilman Glenn Pruitt got wind of the incident. Glenn had asked Comtex to pull the video footage from cameras in the area on the day in question. Once MPD reviewed, they were able to see the vehicle along with its tag number! The car & dog were found due to the camera technology provided by Comtex in the area. A happy ending, to what was initially felt sure to be a very sad one!
