Moving is one of the top 5 dreaded items people do not like to consider. But there are advantages to moving every 5 to 10 years. 1. You should be going through night stands, end and coffee tables and your desk discarding items you thought you needed. If not you will be hauling that "stuff" to the next place. Trash it now if you haven't used items or simply don't need 5 staplers.2. As your filling those wardrobe boxes of clothes.... Are they too small or too big. If so you need to donate those items. Do you still have tags on new garments never worn? Those impulse excursions can be expensive purchases. Put those items in a 30 gallon trash bag and after filling the bag up take it directly to your car so you can drop it off at your charity on the way to work or work out.3. Basements can be a good thing or a bad thing. Most people have over abundance of holiday decorations in their basement. Most people have so Many decorations they could open their own Hallmark store. Donate items haven't used this past December and don't buy anymore. Or do you have Aunt Mary's china or antique bedroom set and thinking the kids may want it and they don't . Bring those items upstairs in the garage and arrange for Amvets or Salvation Army to pick up.4. The garage another catch all place. Many planter boxes and terracotta pots when you use to have a garden? Bags of potting soil, all Sorts of chemicals you can't pronounce their names, and out dated rusted paint cans? Take all chemicals to your county hazardous waste site. Moving has its costs. If moving out of state you want to reduce items you no longer need, want or use because you pay forWeight and distance. The lighter your cargo weight and items you don't need is to your advantage financially and clutter free next home.
