Rowing on the Charles River in the summer is blissful, and it got even better this year for those who row with Community Rowing, Inc. The nonprofit, which operates out of a boathouse in Brighton, is in the process of replacing its fleet of 91 boats, spending to the tune of $1.2 million to buy new singles, quads, eights and more.
