Colonial Group Inc., a diversified family-owned business based in Savannah, Georgia, U.S.A., has announced significant promotions within its executive leadership team. Bob Kenyon has been appointed as the chief operations officer while continuing his role as president of Colonial Oil Industries Inc. Ryan Chandler has been promoted to chief commercial officer, retaining his position as president of Colonial Terminals Inc. These promotions are part of Colonial Group's strategic initiative to leverage synergies across its various business units under the new "One Colonial" approach. The company aims to harness its collective strengths in energy and chemical marketing, distribution, materials storage, and retail convenience to unlock further growth potential. Christian Demere, president and CEO of Colonial Group, expressed confidence in the enhanced leadership structure. Kenyon brings nearly 30 years of experience in fuel operations. Before joining Colonial in 2022, he was senior vice president of Sales and Marketing for Renewable Energy Group Inc. Kenyon's leadership experience also includes his role as president of Atlas Oil Company, where he managed nationwide sales and operations across 20 terminals. Chandler joined Colonial Group in 2011 as vice president of Business Development.
