Cognia: Smarsh buys London voice archiving firm

Digital archiving company Smarsh acquired London-based Cognia, whose technology will give the Portland company the ability to archive audio data ahead of updated European rules on financial companies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. All 12 of Cognia's employees will join Smarsh, the company said.
