CloudSEK: CloudSEK Identifies Large-Scale 'PrintSteal' Fake KYC Document Generation Scam in India

CloudSEK has uncovered a large-scale fraud operation in India, dubbed 'PrintSteal', involving the creation of fake Know Your Customer (KYC) documents. The operation used fake domains mimicking government websites to generate over 1.67 lakh fake documents, earning more than Rs. 40 lakh. The scammers used personally identifiable information (PII) from unsuspecting customers' documents to create the fraudulent KYC documents.
