SIOUX CITY , Iowa ( KCAU ) - With the holiday season fast approaching, a popular fundraising tradition returned over the weekend. The Salvation Army kicked off its 2025 Red Kettle Campaign. Over the course of the campaign, people donate their time to ring in donations and spread holiday cheer. Each shift is 2 hours long, and people will be equipped with bells and aprons at 20 different locations in Siouxland. The goal is to raise $90-thousand. The money will go towards local Salvation Army programs. The 2025 Red Kettle campaign runs from November 15 through Christmas Eve. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
