Chinasearch Blog Changes are afoot...

If you have been to Chinasearch HQ recently, you will have witnessed plenty of hustle and bustle. We are undergoing something of a transformation - we are adding a Chinasearch clearance warehouse and have invested in the showroom of our sister company Tablewhere, which specialises in new china, gifts and kitchen gadgets. Our aim is to be a one-stop-shop for china lovers in Warwickshire and the West Midlands - from now on you will be able to view new and old, formal and casual tableware from leading manufacturers all under one roof. We are celebrating this transformation with a fun-filled weekend at the end of September. On Friday 26th September between 10am and 12pm, we will be hosting our annual coffee morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. We will be serving up coffee, tea and cake in style on our vintage tea ware, and if you fancy a flutter you can try your luck on our raffle - first prize is a beautiful arrangement courtesy of Randall Inc - or you can walk away with a cash prize in our 'Hundreds and Thousands' sweepstake.Last year we raised £1100 - we'd love to do that again this year, but we'll need your help. Bring a friend along for coffee, cake and a catch-up - and together we can make sure that no one faces cancer alone.Next up is our launch party on Saturday 27thSeptember from 10am to 4pm. Richard Randall - design guru of '60 Minute Makeover' fame - will be opening the shop and will be on hand throughout the day to give interior design tips and flower arranging advice. There will also be a craft village, where we will be hosting a series of crafty workshops with the support of two local talents. You can try your hand at pottery painting with Diana from Crazy Kiln - you can drop in at any time between 11am and 2pm for a 'Splash and Dash' session or you can arrive at 12.00pm for a more structured tutorial. We're also thrilled to welcome local artist Helen Clues, who will be here from 10am until 3pm running mosaic-making workshops incorporating both traditional mosaic materials and reclaimed ceramic pieces. Prices for these workshops start from just £5 and are suitable for all ages - so come along and get creative! We would love to see you at Chinasearch HQ - we're based in Unit 4, Princes Drive, Kenilworth - on either of these days - you can explore the shop, meet the team, raise money for Macmillan and get lots of inspiration, all in one place! What's more, you can save 10% on all purchases on Saturday 27th September - just print this voucherand bring it along on the day!
