Hey all,Current employees: We are gearing up for our busy Fall season (where we need 30 people - yikes!) and most of our current employees know that we have been steadily hiring people throughout the past couple of weeks. Please remember that they are newbies and have NO IDEA where anything goes! As current employees, part of your jobs is to help teach these guys everything that you know about the job and the farm.There are some areas / cages that have padlocks (Hannah the python, The Outback, Coatimundi cage) and most of our feeders / cleaners and current employees know these codes. Until our newbies have shown the appropriate skills, please keep these codes to yourself!Everyone: Remember to keep cages / gates CLOSED SECURELY - this includes the cage where the baby peacocks are!August 17th we will reintroduce the paycheck sign out forms where EVERY EMPLOYEE will have to have a team leader sign out their paychecks!Since we are getting busier, remember that you cannot just bring people up to the farm whenever you guys would like. While we love and encourage you to wander the farm, play with the animals and bring loved ones up here as well, we need notice of this. You will have to clear with Cathy and/or Lisa as to when you can come up (either with people or just yourself) to wander the farm / play with the animals!Newbies: If you were hired before August 17th, you will have received your paycheck from the drawer in the office. August 17th and beyond, you will NOT be able to just come into the office and grab your paycheck. You will have to have a team leader escort you to unlock the drawer and help sign out your paycheck.
