Micro Focus has released the 'Micro Focus Client for Open Enterprise Server 2 SP4 (IR3)' for Windows, which is now available in Bundle Commander's Setup Store. This client is an interim release of Client for Open Enterprise Server 2 SP4 (formerly "Novell Client 2 SP4 for Windows"). It is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2, Window Server 2012 (R2) and includes support for Windows 10. The brand name 'Novell' has been changed from 'Novell' to 'Micro Focus'.Let's have a closer look. The installer basically is the the same as before. 'Client for Open Enterprise Server 2 SP4 IR3.exe' is a WinZip Self-Extractor which extracted the core setup files to c:\Micro Focus:After which the actual setup is started:The EULA shows 'Micro Focus' in different places:In this example we choose 'Express Installation':Installing 'Visual C++ 2010' is not an option, it's installed automatically.:Although Micro Focus rebranded several components of this client, the NICI and NMAS components are still 'Novell Inc':
