In its first joint report with the National Crime Agency(NCA), the NCSC assesses the cyber threat for UK businesses as 'significant and growing' with 65% of large UK businesses having detected a breach or attack in the last year. Cyber threats are increasingly aggressive and confrontational incorporating extortion, particularly Ransomware.
