Is it safe to pull out USB without ejecting it?Every body does it but the question arises that is it safe or not?As we see that data on USB does not alter so we do pull our USB frequently.But previous study says that it does affect some aspects of data.In previous days, OS used to mount all disks of storage media and triggered a mechanical switch.Data was continuously read by computer. If we pull USB out, it may loose some control info for reading it, it may crash or it may corrupt or require a boot accordingly.Mac floppy offers a software ejection only. And if file is open, it doesn't eject.In modern computers, optimist for a quick removal mechanism is used to avoid this situation in windows.
