Today the B.C. government held a press conference to recognize the acquisition of Bit Stew Systems, by GE Digital, and also to acknowledge the company's contribution to helping put the B.C. technology sector on the global map. Bit Stew is one of the largest venture-backed acquisitions in B.C. in last decade, and support of the investment community was instrumental. The press conference was hosted by Yaletown Partners and the B.C. Tech Association, and was attended by the Hon. Teresa Wat, Minister of International Trade, and Hon. Amrik Virk, Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizen' Services, and the BC Tech Association President, Bill Tam.
