Dresden, Germany-based startup beeOLED has raised €13.3 million ($14.4 million) in series A funding to further develop its high-efficiency deep-blue emitter technology, and advance the emitters toward commercial availability. The company aims to overcome a bottleneck that has to date prevented a market-ready technology that delivers deep-blue OLED emitters that are both stable and efficient at the same time.
