The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation, which provides bus, shuttle and vanpool services throughout the Triad, has awarded Bar Construction Co. Inc. of Greensboro a $5.3 million contract to begin construction on the first phase of the 19,000-square-foot Howard Coble Intermodal Transportation Center project.
