Austar Labs posted a video "Testing Grip Move Release Functionality with Jackson School Students (2 of 2)" on VIMEO

18 February 2014 marks an important milestone in the evolution of AustAR Labs and it's vision to develop AR-based education games that are fun and entertaining for children.Today we tested the GripGrabMoveRelease functionality, developed in Microsoft Kinect, with the ultimate users of this functionality - school children. Here you will see Aaron from the Jackson School, St Albans, Melbourne Australia, testing the functionality on a simple educational game prototype.Just as Daniel did, Aaron is loving the experience and doesn't want to stop. He's closely supervised by his eLearning teacher Mathieu Marunczyn.Next step for us is to produce an entire lesson and re-present to the School. So stay tuned for further updates on our progress.Cast: AustAR LabsTags: augmented reality, kinect for windows, special needs children and jackson school
