The official start of summer is exactly one month away. Now is the time to make sure you're prepared for all of the great activities that come with this sunny season.Everyone will probably get a chance to enjoy some time at the beach or at least a pool over the next several months, but we wanted to make sure you think about all the other fun things to do. Two weekend adventures we think should be on your summer bucket list are camping trips and attending music festivals (or the combination of the two).If you really want to maximize the camping experience, our team at AudioActiv advises you to look for a destination with plenty of things to do such as white water rafting, river tubing or maybe even zorbing (if you're really adventurous). If you are not really the camping type, look into destinations with cabin rentals. You might even find a place with A/C.Photo taken from Travel BlogIf you're looking for a fun, possibly wild experience, now is the time to make sure you have tickets to one of the amazing music festivals happening across the U.S. Some of the well-known festivals are Lollapalooza in Chicago,Govenor's Ball in New York and Bonnaroo in Tennessee, just to name a few. Depending on which festival you attend, you might want to check out Outkast, Disclosure, Skrillex, Chance the Rapper, Janelle Monáe and so many more talented artists we love to watch perform!Photo of Govenor's Ball taken from Crain's New York BusinessNow that that you are thinking about all of your summer activities, the last thing we want to mention is preparation. Be sure you are ready for every weekend with sunscreen, flip flops, swim suits and definitely, a portable speaker. There is nothing better than enjoying the outdoors with your friends and your favorite tunes.
