Akros Silicon: Sunnyvale chip company buys another from San Jose that had raised $47M

Kinetic Technologies says it has acquired Akros Silicon in a deal that combines a pair of semiconductor companies that focus on managing power use. Sunnyvale-based Kinetic, led by CEO Kin Shum, didn't disclose financial details of the acquisition of San Jose-based Akros, which is led by CEO Elie Antoun.
