The Economic Development Partnership of Alabama Foundation has selected 11 teams to compete in the 2015 Alabama Launchpad Startups Competition, including seven from Birmingham. The teams will be competing for a share of $250,000 in funding and will be pitching their businesses to a panel of five judges at 9 a.m. on Jan. 23 at Evonik Industries.
