The Guns 'n Hoses National Poker Challenge is a national series of poker tournaments that raise funds and awareness for local law enforcement and firefighters charities and organizations. Each local event features a unique team and individual competition as players and teams battle it out on the felt for great prizes, trophies and bragging rights.The concept is simple. All players compete individually for amazing prizes. Teams compete for one of three team prizes and the title of Guns 'n Hoses Team Champions for the year. Each eliminated player is given a score based on their finish. The team with the highest overall score wins the team portion of the tournament. The Individual Champion wins the Championship bracelet and a World Series of Poker package including airfare, hotel, VIP party with poker stars, an opportunity to play against the stars and will join Team Guns 'n Hoses and play in a World Series of Poker event with a million dollar first prize. It's a package that money can't buy and exclusively for winners of local Guns 'n Hoses events.Teams of ten players represent local firehouses and police stations, and police and fire departments from around the region. Players can be active or retired LEO's or Firefighters, friends & family and supporters of law enforcement and firefighters from the business community.
