Six months ago Microsoft settled with a European company, agreeing to drop its use of the SkyDrive name for its cloud storage solution. There are plenty of stories about the original dispute which, frankly, are not all that interesting. But the new name they announced is very interesting. OneDrive is the new brand name that will soon replace SkyDrive.
